Nether Haven Halloween Family Dance
Join us for our ever-popular Nether Haven Family Halloween Dance!
This event sells out quickly so don't delay. Tickets will be available online on October 15 for NHCA members and non-members/guests. Purchase an NHCA Membership. Unsure if you currently have a valid membership? Contact us to inquire.
Tickets will not be available at the door. Pricing: $7/person for NHCA members, $10/person for non-members/guests.
We will once again have the fabulous DJ Safezone, and our concession will be open with treats and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

Flu Shot Clinic
The North Haven Community Association is pleased to offer a free flu shot clinic, courtesy of Thorncliffe Shoppers Drug Mart. This is open to all North Haven residents ages 5 and up.
Pharmacists will be available for vaccinations on Nov 15th from 9:00am - 11:30am.
Refreshments and colouring pages for the kids will be available.
Looking for other vaccines? The latest COVID vaccine, along with the Shingles vaccine and other travel vaccinations, are available in-store from our friends at Thorncliffe Shoppers.
What to know and do before you come:
Sign up in advance for a timeslot using the Signup Genius link below, as we may not be able to accommodate additional bookings on the day of the clinic.
Arrive at the hall at your booked time to avoid crowding waiting areas.
Print and fill out the form (linked below) prior to arriving, if at all possible. Paper copies will be available at the hall if needed.
Wear a short sleeved shirt.

North Haven Community Association is accepting applications for the North Haven Christmas Makers Market on November 23, 2024.
Please complete the following form to apply to be a vendor. Successful vendors will be contacted by the NHCA with confirmation and payment details.
Products must be handmade, and the market organizer will make effort to reduce product duplication during the selection process.
We are accepting vendor applications until October 11.

This all-day event is open to all community members 18 and older so please come down and try out scrapbooking and meet some fellow scrapbookers! Admission is $5.00 and will be collected at the door, CASH ONLY and change is limited. Space and tables are limited so it will be first come first served. We can accommodate 21 people maximum at 1 person per 6’ table and 2 persons per 8 foot table.
Crafter Responsibilities
Please help setting up and taking down your table
Clean up and wipe area around your table space when you’re done
Absolutely NO GLITTER is to be used in crafting!
You must bring a plastic table cloth at lease 6’ long for your table, we will not be providing these and they are a must have
All table top crafting types are welcome (eg. Drawing, quilting, etc.)
Responsibilities will be reviewed again during event
Card Classes
Costs will vary depending on the card type and complexity
If you are participating in the crop there will be no additional entry cost above the card kit cost
If you are attending card class only, there is a time limit per seat
Entry cost will be incorporated into card kit cost based on card type and complexity

Good Food Box Order - October
The Good Food Box is a program under the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary, whereby anyone can purchase boxes of seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables at a significantly lower cost than the grocery store. With the cost of food increasing, NHCA would like to offer residents convenient access to the Good Food Box Program through our website.
We will be taking orders from October 9 - 12 and then orders will be available for pick-up at the North Haven Community Hall on October 23 between 3 - 6 PM.
There are three different sizes of produce boxes available to purchase:
Small Box: 15-20 lbs of fruits and vegetables - $31.50 includes 5% service fee
Medium Box: 25-30 lbs of fruits and vegetables - $36.75 includes 5% service fee
Large Box: 35 to 40 lbs of fruits and vegetables - $42.00 includes 5% service fee
