Substation 27 Rebuild Open House

ENMAX Power owns and operates ENMAX No. 27 Substation, located at 4236 14 St NW, providing electrical service to surrounding communities in the northwest area of Calgary.

Due to the age and condition of the existing substation equipment, ENMAX Power is proposing to rebuild the outdoor 69 kilovolt (kV) electrical equipment at ENMAX No. 27 Substation. Additionally, to accommodate modern equipment and current safety standards, the substation fence-line will be expanded and two existing transmission lines will be altered to connect to the rebuilt substation. Construction is anticipated to begin in early 2028 and take 2 years to complete.

Enmax will be holding 2 open houses to engage the community about the proposed project on June 15 & 16 from 3 PM to 8 PM.

RESCHEDULED - North Haven Community Clean-Up

Community Cleanup

Join us to celebrate Earth Day by cleaning up your community!

We will meet at the North Haven Hall outside on the grassy area. There will be a few leaders who will take groups to different areas that have an excess of garbage. If you know of a place needing attention, please speak up, and we will make sure to send a group there.

Bring a garbage bag and a pair of gloves. We will walk around North Haven and pick up any litter found.

Thanks to Jenn & Mark Jurca for taking a group out.
