Scrapbooking Crop & Card Making Class
This all-day event is open to all community members 18 and older so please come down and try out scrapbooking and meet some fellow scrapbookers! Admission is $5.00 and will be collected at the door, CASH ONLY and change is limited. Space and tables are limited so it will be first come first served. We can accommodate 21 people maximum at 1 person per 6’ table and 2 persons per 8 foot table.

Clean up and wipe area around your table space when you’re done
Absolutely NO GLITTER is to be used in crafting!
You must bring a plastic table cloth at lease 6’ long for your table, we will not be providing these and they are a must have

North Haven Family Skating Party 2025
Join us Sunday January 26th, from 2-4 pm for music, cookies, and hot chocolate, and of course, skating!
This event is weather dependent
Please remember to bring a helmet (mandatory for kids) and a skate-aid for your children if needed.

Brew Haven Event
Join us for the fantastic Brew Haven Craft Beer (and more!) event at the NHCA Hall on Saturday, February 22. Tickets go on sale January 31. We will be showcasing a selection of local breweries and distilleries.
We will have Best of Kin, Confluence Distilling, Sunny Cidery, Starr Distilling Co, byHendo the Cocktail Company, and WildFolk (non alcoholic cocktails) that have all confirmed their attendance this year.
There will be live music from Jamie Allanach on the stage throughout the night along with tables set up throughout the hall.
Food will be served at the concession window from Best of Kin. Stay tuned for their menu!
This is an 18+ event - no minors allowed.
North Haven Lego® Competition 2025
Calling all LEGO® builders! North Haven is holding our second LEGO® Competition on Saturday, March 29! Pick a category and get building today.
Register ahead using the link below - each entry is $5, with a maximum of two entries allowed per builder.
Entry dropoff: 10 AM - 12 PM
Builders can drop off their creations between 10 AM-12 PM on Saturday morning.
Public viewing: 1-3 PM
All are welcome to check out the amazing creations during the public viewing time Saturday afternoon, between 1-3 PM.
Registration will close at 7 pm Friday, March 28.

Contest Rules:
Registration must be done in advance through our website, link above. A limited number of entries will be available due to space constraints
Entry registration and fees cut off will be 7pm on Friday, March 28.
Entries are to be original designs only - no kits or builds based on instructions. Entries must be constructed at home and brought to the hall.
For entries larger than 15” by 15” wide, please provide detail in the checkout form
Build categories are Music and Things That Go, however these categories are for age groups between 8-17 years and will not be required for under 7 years or over 18 years age groups
First, second and third place ribbons and a small trophy will be awarded to the winner(s) of each category in each age group
7 years and under category will have only three winners in total
Adult category winners (first, second and third place) will be decided by a public vote between 1-2:30 pm, with winners announced at 3 pm
Each entry costs $5, with a maximum of two entries per builder allowed
Judges’ decisions are final
LEGO®-like pieces are acceptable
All creations must be taken home on event day by 4 pm (no exceptions)

NHCA Annual General Meeting
Join us for our annual general meeting for the year. We cover and discuss issues arising, future planning, and upcoming events. This year’s AGM is scheduled currently to be in person and is open to all.
Remember, all residents of North Haven: with a valid Membership, are eligible to vote on director positions, in addition to put their name forward for a director position.
The meeting is open to non-members as well, they are just unable to vote or be elected to the board.
We do ask that if you were considering joining the board, that you express interest prior to the meeting so we can cover what duties are for each role.

Winter Haven Craft Market
North Haven Community Association is accepting applications for the North Haven Christmas Makers Market on November 23, 2024.
Please complete the following form to apply to be a vendor. Successful vendors will be contacted by the NHCA with confirmation and payment details.
Products must be handmade, and the market organizer will make effort to reduce product duplication during the selection process.
We are accepting vendor applications until October 11.

Nether Haven Halloween Family Dance
Join us for our ever-popular Nether Haven Family Halloween Dance!
This event sells out quickly so don't delay. Tickets will be available online on October 15 for NHCA members and non-members/guests. Purchase an NHCA Membership. Unsure if you currently have a valid membership? Contact us to inquire.

Free Flu Shot Clinic
The North Haven Community Association is pleased to offer a free flu shot clinic, courtesy of Thorncliffe Shoppers Drug Mart. This is open to all North Haven residents ages 5 and up.
Pharmacists will be available for vaccinations from 1:30 - 4:30 PM.
Refreshments and colouring pages for the kids will be available.
Looking for other vaccines? The latest COVID vaccine, along with the Shingles vaccine and other travel vaccinations, are available in-store from our friends at Thorncliffe Shoppers.
What to know and do before you come:
Sign up in advance for a timeslot using the Signup Genius link below, as we may not be able to accommodate additional bookings on the day of the clinic.
Arrive at the hall at your booked time to avoid crowding waiting areas.
Print and fill out the form (linked below) prior to arriving, if at all possible. Paper copies will be available at the hall if needed.
Wear a short sleeved shirt.
Bring your Alberta health card.
