A night at the improv! Bring your friends for a great evening out.
On November 2, we are hosting Improv Night. This is an adults-only event, and should be fun and funny! Performers from Calgary improv company Dirty Laundry (which is run by North haven resident Karen Johnson Diamond) will be here to entertain you! Audience participation is encouraged but certainly not required! Tickets are available in advance only. Doors open at 7pm, show at 8. Cash bar with beer from Zero Issue (as well as other beverages), and Sahara Pizza by the slice will round out the evening!
Jessica is a seasoned storyteller, improviser, and host with a bevy of characters waiting just below the surface. She has performed it all from edgy stand up for grown ups in comedy clubs, to family friendly improv shows for kids, to character driven improv shows at alternative festivals. She performs regularly with improv troupes Duckface, Push Button, Built for Comfort, Plaze and Dirty Laundry.
Nicole is proud to have been one of the original members of Dirty Laundry, performing and occasionally directing for 18 seasons. She is also a member of the Kinkonauts, and has performed improvised versions of Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Anton Chekhov, Radio Plays, and full on Broadway style musicals. She has two kids, two cats, a dog, and no time for real laundry.
Tickets $20 for members – $25 invited guests.
Doors at 7:00, show starts at 8:00. Adults only.
